is a Brazilian actress born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. As a professional member of SATED-RJ, Rio’s actors’ union, for over seven years, she built a strong foundation in theatre before moving to Chicago in 2015.

As a Latina immigrant, rebuilding a life and career in a new country shaped not only the artist she has become, but also the person behind the work. The experience deepened her resilience, curiosity, and belief in the power of storytelling to connect people across cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.

Since relocating to the U.S., Alana has worked in film, television, and commercials. She is especially drawn to stories that explore identity, belonging, human connection, and the complexities that make us who we are. For her, acting is not only about performance—it is about creating meaningful experiences that allow audiences to feel seen, understood, and alive.

Alongside her on-camera work, Alana has fallen in love with voiceover. She is drawn to the unique intimacy of the medium and to the power of the human voice to spark imagination, evoke emotion, and create connection. For her, voiceover offers yet another way to tell stories that linger long after the final words are spoken.

Alana is also an ensemble member of The Paper Theatre, where she continues to explore collaborative, ensemble-based creation. Her artistic training in the U.S. includes Black Box Acting Studios and Vagabond School of the Arts, building on a foundation in Meisner Technique and Viewpoints. Along the way, she was honored to be selected for a Latinx Actor Training laboratory hosted by the Latinx Theatre Commons at the University of Wisconsin—an experience that further deepened her connection to community, culture, and storytelling.

Working fluidly between the U.S. and Brazilian markets, Alana remains committed to growth, collaboration, and meaningful storytelling—bringing heart, curiosity, and authenticity to every project she joins.
